摘要(英文): | This study aims to explore the contributions of quality education to the 16 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, as well as the disparities between individual countries and global sustainability benchmarks. Using data from 107 countries, the analysis reveals that quality education contributes most significantly to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), followed by SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 1 (No Poverty). The proportion of variance in these SDGs explained by quality education is 71.0%, 64.0%, 61.0%, 59.0%, and 55.0%, respectively. Conversely, the study finds that quality education does not show a significant contribution to SDG 14 (Life Below Water) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). When examining the gap between national performance and global average levels for the five most education-influenced SDGs (3, 9, 7, 11, and 1), the number of countries falling below the global average is 46, 57, 56, 67, and 40, respectively. For these countries, it is recommended that investments in education be aligned with national development needs to enhance progress toward sustainable development goals through the advancement of quality education. |
