摘要(中文)： 本文試圖在梳理教育與貧窮的關係、假說及相關理論之後，找出教育能夠協助之濟貧措施，並進而檢視我國之相關政策。本文主旨包括：一、教育所能處理的貧窮問題多從個人缺陷或功能論著眼；二、健全家庭功能與家庭教育是教育機構濟貧政策所易忽略，卻是非常重要的面向；三、貧窮者的次文化及心理狀態是在教育實施過程中需加以處理的重要層面；四、建立一套整全的教育範疇內的脫貧方案，而非只是消極的進行經費補助是我國未來精緻化相關政策之方向。
摘要(英文)： After studying the assumptions and theories on the relationship between education and poverty, the strategies which educational departments can adopt to relieve poverty were proposed. According to the strategies, educational policies on poverty in Taiwan was reviewed and commented.
